Hello! My name is Irina Bondarenko and I am currently a second-year student at the International Business School Vatel Moscow.

Being able to work in different countries is one of the reasons why I have chosen the hotel business as my future career. And this summer, thanks to Vatel Moscow, I had an actual chance to try it. My first internship was in France. I had an opportunity to experience myself in many different activities. I helped the Chefs to prepare French dishes and desserts which was my favourite part. I was a trainee in the kitchen, pastry department, restaurant and housekeeping. Working in different departments gave me the opportunity to learn more about the functioning of the hotel which is extremely important for my future career. I learnt a lot of new things and gained so much valuable experience. Also, the need to work with people from different countries helped me to improve my communication skills. I realised how important it is to work as a team. A lot of different people from different countries came together in one place. It was great to feel myself a part of a big team, big family of Vatel students.
